TREE-BOX Features
Spigot and thread
Now copied by others, we were the first to offer this clever design feature. Located in the middle of the pancake is a 3/8” thread that is installed during the wood bonding process. Spigots and grip can screw directly and very securely into the panel. Creating versatile support options for lighting, lower than any dedicated low-stands. Protects sensitive surfaces from heat or damage.
Grip holes and slot
Another feature of ours that is starting to be more common place. Our full size box allows two-handed carrying, in flat or vertical positions. This prevents an inverted carry and promotes safer posture lift. They’ve also been designed for the pass-through of tie down straps. Strap in either flat or vertical orientations. No other nested box product offers these features.
Umbrella support
A standard, large camera umbrella hole is located on the lid of a TREE-BOX. It can be accessed by removing the pancake. This ensures the maximum weight will remain in the box. A receiving hole in the base of the box keeps the umbrella well positioned. Crew can sit comfortably, shaded and dry.
Slip mat
Every TREE-BOX comes with a slip mat. This is stored and located inside the half size box, providing grip on smooth surfaces, or between each other. We believe this is an essential safety item all boxes should have.
Table anywhere
The pancake box can screw directly into a standard lighting stand and creates a useful table-top or shooting surface. It’s space saving, fully adjustable and always available when you need it. Table for one?
Compact
When space is a premium, who doesn’t need more of it? Our boxes maximise space and keep a full set conveniently contained for transit or on a shelf.
